The Minecraft Bee is a neutral mob found in the Overworld. They are distinguished by their small, bee-like appearance, complete with black and yellow stripes and buzzing sounds.

Bees primarily spawn near bee nests and beehives, typically found in flower forests, plains, and sunflower plains biomes. These nests and hives serve as their homes, which they leave throughout the day to collect pollen from nearby flowers.

A bee's primary function revolves around pollination. When a bee interacts with a flower, it collects pollen. A pollinated bee then returns to its nest or hive. Once the nest or hive reaches capacity with honey (5 honey level), it can be harvested using a bottle to obtain honey bottles, or sheared to obtain honeycomb.

While neutral, bees can become hostile if provoked, such as by attacking their nest or hive without using smoke. When angered, they will sting the player, inflicting poison. After stinging, the bee will lose its stinger and eventually die.
