Karla Sofen, also known as Moonstone, is a complex and morally ambiguous character in the Marvel Universe. She is a psychiatrist who manipulated Lloyd Bloch (the original Moonstone) to gain possession of a Kree gravity stone.
The gravity stone granted her superhuman abilities, including flight, enhanced strength and speed, energy manipulation, and intangibility. Sofen adopted the Moonstone codename and embarked on a career as a supervillain.
Moonstone's history includes membership in various villainous groups such as the Masters of Evil, the Thunderbolts (both as a government operative and a villainous imposter), and the Dark Avengers, where she impersonated Ms. Marvel.
Driven by ambition and a thirst for power, Moonstone is a skilled manipulator and strategist. While she has occasionally displayed glimpses of heroism, her self-serving nature ultimately defines her actions.
Her long and storied career has brought her into conflict with numerous heroes, making her a formidable and dangerous foe.
