Biography:
Ao'nung is a prominent character in the film Avatar: The Way of Water (2022). He is the eldest son of Tonowari and Ronal, the leaders of the Metkayina clan, a reef-dwelling Na'vi people of Pandora.
Ao'nung initially displays a hostile and bullying attitude towards Jake Sully's children, particularly Lo'ak, as they are seen as outsiders and different due to their forest Na'vi heritage. He is a skilled free diver and warrior, confident in his knowledge of the reef and his abilities.
Throughout the film, Ao'nung's character undergoes development.
