Biography:
Kafka Hibino is the protagonist of the manga series Kaiju No. 8, also known as Monster No 8. He first appears in chapter 1 of the manga.
He's a member of the Monster Sweeper Inc., a private cleaning organization tasked with disposing of Kaiju remains after the Japan Anti-Kaiju Defense Force neutralizes them.
Due to a bizarre encounter with a small Kaiju, Kafka gains the ability to transform into a humanoid Kaiju, later designated "Kaiju No. 8" by the Defense Force. He keeps this ability a secret to avoid detection.
Despite failing the Defense Force entrance exam multiple times, Kafka's newfound Kaiju powers allow him to pursue his dream of joining the force alongside his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro.
