Janice Litman-Geller, commonly known simply as Janice, is a recurring character on the popular sitcom Friends. Portrayed by actress Maggie Wheeler, she is known for her distinctive nasal voice, grating laugh, and on-again, off-again romantic relationship with Chandler Bing.

Janice works in various capacities throughout the series, including as a supervisor for Chandler. Her appearances are often comedic, built upon the unexpectedness of her return into the main characters' lives. Chandler repeatedly attempts to avoid her and end their relationship, but she keeps popping back up, creating running gags throughout the show's ten seasons.

While primarily used for comic relief, Janice's character is also sometimes used to explore themes of commitment, fear of intimacy, and the challenges of maintaining relationships. She eventually marries and has children, showcasing a more settled and arguably happier life outside of her chaotic connection with Chandler.
