Pichu is an Electric-type Baby Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It is the pre-evolution of Pikachu, evolving into Pikachu when leveled up with high friendship.

Visually, Pichu resembles a smaller version of Pikachu. It has a similar yellow fur, but with smaller ears and red cheek pouches. A distinctive feature is the lack of black tips on its ears, replaced with brown markings.

Known for being playful and mischievous, Pichu are also notoriously bad at controlling their electric powers. They often shock themselves or others unintentionally, especially when excited or surprised. This uncontrolled electricity makes them somewhat unpredictable.

In the Pokémon world, Pichu are often found in groups, learning to control their electric abilities together. They are particularly sensitive to electric currents and are drawn to areas with strong electric fields.
