Astarion is a prominent character in the video game Baldur's Gate 3. He is a High Elf vampire spawn, compelled to serve his cruel master, Cazador Szarr.
Before his transformation, Astarion was a magistrate in Baldur's Gate. He lived a life of privilege until Cazador enslaved and turned him roughly two centuries prior to the game's events.
