In the show, Soldier Boy is an immensely powerful superhero, the original and longest-serving leader of the superhero team Payback. Parodying Captain America, he was a celebrity figure during World War II and throughout the Cold War.
Depicted as arrogant, brutal, and emotionally stunted, Soldier Boy possesses superhuman strength, durability, and a radioactive heat beam he can emit from his chest. After being presumed dead during a mission in 1984, he resurfaces in the present day seeking revenge against his former teammates.
