Miles Axlerod is a character from the Pixar animated film Cars 2, released in 2011. He is initially presented as a renewable energy tycoon and the creator of Allinol, a supposed alternative fuel.
Axlerod claims to be a former oil baron who converted to environmentalism. He organizes the World Grand Prix to promote Allinol as a safer fuel source.
However, it is later revealed that Axlerod is the mastermind behind a plot to discredit Allinol and maintain the dominance of traditional gasoline, enriching himself in the process. He is ultimately exposed and apprehended.
