Biography:

Mickey Mouse is an animated cartoon character created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks at Walt Disney Studios in 1928. He serves as the Walt Disney Company's official mascot and a symbol of popular culture globally.

Mickey first appeared in the short films *Plane Crazy* and *The Gallopin' Gaucho* in 1928, however *Steamboat Willie* was his first public debut due to it being the first cartoon with synchronized sound.

Mickey Mouse is generally portrayed as a cheerful, optimistic, and mischievous anthropomorphic mouse who embodies the spirit of fun and adventure. He often appears alongside his girlfriend Minnie Mouse and friends Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto in various animated works.
