George "Digger" Harkness, known as Captain Boomerang, is a character appearing in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). He is an Australian thief and mercenary with expertise in using boomerangs as weapons.

This version of Captain Boomerang made his first appearance in the film *Suicide Squad* (2016). He is portrayed as a somewhat eccentric and unpredictable member of Task Force X, a group of dangerous criminals forced to work for the government.

In *Suicide Squad*, Captain Boomerang is apprehended by The Flash and later recruited to Amanda Waller's Suicide Squad. He reluctantly participates in missions, often displaying a sarcastic and irreverent attitude.
