Biography:
Chunk is a minor antagonist character in the animated film Toy Story 3. He is a toy owned by Sid Phillips in the first film, but who is now donated to Sunnyside Daycare.
He is a large, rocky monster toy with a spring-loaded head. Chunk's distinct appearance includes large, blue, stony eyes and a fearsome expression. His primary function appears to be intimidation.
Initially, Chunk is part of Lotso's gang that enforces the harsh rules at Sunnyside. He is first seen as a guard, menacingly watching over the new toys. He displays a tough and aggressive personality, reflecting Lotso's influence.
Later, after Lotso's true nature is revealed, Chunk, along with the other Sunnyside toys, turns against him. He helps Woody and the other toys escape Sunnyside and reach Andy, thus redeeming himself from his earlier, intimidating actions.
