Biography:
Asha is the protagonist of Disney's animated feature film, Wish (2023). She is a bright, idealistic 17-year-old living in the Kingdom of Rosas, a Mediterranean island ruled by King Magnifico.
Asha is known for her strong sense of community and her deep compassion for others. She works as a tour guide, showcasing the wonders of Rosas to visiting travelers. Asha is particularly close to her 100-year-old grandfather, Sabino, whose deepest wish she hopes will be granted.
When Asha realizes King Magnifico isn't as benevolent as he appears and that he hoards wishes rather than granting them freely, she makes a desperate plea to the stars for help. This plea summons a cosmic being of pure energy called Star. Asha and Star then embark on a journey to confront Magnifico and restore the people's hopes and wishes.
