Biography:
Parce is a relatively minor character from Disney's 2021 animated film, Encanto. She is one of the village girls who lives near the Madrigal family's enchanted Casita.
Parce, along with the other village children, admires the Madrigals for their gifts. She is particularly excited by Mirabel, despite Mirabel not possessing a magical gift herself. Parce, along with other kids from Encanto, sings "The Family Madrigal" at the start of the movie, setting up the characters' powers and how the townsfolk view the family.
While not a central figure in the narrative, Parce represents the wider community that benefits from the Madrigals' magical gifts and who also appreciates and accepts Mirabel. She highlights the importance of the Madrigal's positive impact on the Encanto people and region as a whole.
