Biography:

Artur Axmann was a high-ranking Nazi official during World War II. He first appears in the 2004 movie *Downfall* (Der Untergang), portraying his role during the final days of the Third Reich.

Axmann served as the Reich Youth Leader (Reichsjugendführer) of the Hitler Youth from 1940 until the war's end. He was responsible for indoctrinating young Germans with Nazi ideology and preparing them for military service. In the movie, he is depicted as fanatically loyal to Hitler, even in the face of imminent defeat.

During the Battle of Berlin, Axmann commanded units of the Hitler Youth, throwing them into the desperate defense of the city. After Hitler's death, he briefly attempted to establish a new Nazi regime before going into hiding. He was eventually captured and convicted of war crimes.
