Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki is a celestial being and key antagonist in the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime and manga series. He is a member of the main branch of the Ōtsutsuki clan, originating from another dimension and arriving on Earth to retrieve the chakra fruit harvested from the God Tree.
Momoshiki first appears in the Boruto: Naruto the Movie, serving as the primary antagonist alongside his partner Kinshiki. He possesses the Byakugan in both eyes and the Rinnegan in his palms, granting him immense power and the ability to absorb and release chakra-based techniques.
After being defeated by Boruto Uzumaki using the Vanishing Rasengan, Momoshiki leaves behind a Karma mark on Boruto, effectively granting him a fraction of his power and ensuring his eventual resurrection. This mark makes Boruto a vessel for Momoshiki's consciousness.
