Biography:

Nami, also known as O-Nami in Wano Country, is a prominent character from the *One Piece* series. She first appears in the manga in chapter 8 and episode 8 of the anime.

Initially introduced as a thief specializing in robbing pirates, Nami's motivations are revealed to be rooted in a tragic past. She was forced to work for the pirate Arlong to buy back her village, Cocoyashi, from his control.

After Monkey D. Luffy defeats Arlong, Nami officially joins the Straw Hat Pirates as their navigator, utilizing her exceptional cartography skills and weather prediction abilities to guide the crew through the Grand Line.

While not possessing Devil Fruit powers, Nami relies on her intelligence, thieving skills, and Clima-Tact weapon, which allows her to manipulate weather patterns, making her a valuable asset to the Straw Hats.
