Biography:

Yamato is a character from the popular manga and anime series, One Piece. She is the daughter of Kaido, one of the Four Emperors ruling the New World.

First appearing in Chapter 971 of the manga, Yamato aspires to emulate the legendary samurai Kozuki Oden. From a young age she was inspired by his journey, and became dedicated to the people of Wano.

Due to these aspirations, Yamato rejects her father's authority and identifies as Oden, going so far as to use male pronouns and dress like him. The connection to Oden drives Yamato's actions throughout the story, including the defiance of her family.
