Donquixote Doflamingo, often referred to simply as Doflamingo, is a prominent antagonist in the One Piece anime and manga series. He first appears during the Jaya Arc, though his influence isn't fully realized until later arcs.

Doflamingo is a former World Noble (Celestial Dragon), but relinquished his status due to traumatic events in his childhood. This experience shaped his ruthless worldview and desire for revenge against the World Government and the world itself.

He is the captain of the Donquixote Pirates and the King of Dressrosa, a position he gained through a coup d'état. Doflamingo possesses immense power, both political and physical. His Devil Fruit, the Ito Ito no Mi (String-String Fruit), allows him to create and manipulate strings, which he utilizes for combat, puppeteering, and even constructing a massive birdcage that traps entire islands.

Doflamingo is known for his flamboyant personality, cruel tactics, and manipulative nature. He is a complex and formidable villain who plays a significant role in the overarching narrative of One Piece.
