Biography:
Marcel, a minor character in Disney's animated film "The Princess and the Frog" (2009), is one of the three frog hunters hired by Dr. Facilier. He is distinguished by his rotund physique and gruff demeanor.
Marcel's primary role is to assist his fellow hunters, Darnell and Reggie, in capturing Prince Naveen, who has been transformed into a frog by Dr. Facilier's magic. They scour the Louisiana bayou in pursuit of their target.
While not particularly bright or resourceful, Marcel is fiercely loyal to Dr. Facilier and determined to complete their assigned task. Ultimately, the frog hunters are unsuccessful, thwarted by Tiana, Naveen, and their allies. Marcel, along with Darnell and Reggie, become victims of Louis’s appetite.
