Penelope "Penny" Teller is a fictional character in the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, portrayed by Kaley Cuoco. She is introduced in the first episode as an aspiring actress and waitress at The Cheesecake Factory who moves in across the hall from physicists Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper.
