Biography:
Dr. Facilier, also known as the Shadow Man, is the main antagonist in Disney's 2009 animated film, The Princess and the Frog. He is a charismatic but deceitful witch doctor residing in New Orleans.

Facilier possesses a talent for voodoo and uses dark magic to manipulate and deceive others for his personal gain. He seeks to control New Orleans by orchestrating a scheme to transform Prince Naveen into a frog and exploit the wealthy Eli "Big Daddy" La Bouff.

He makes deals with powerful "friends on the other side" - voodoo spirits who grant him power but ultimately demand payment. Facilier's ambition and greed lead him to betray his own associates, including his assistant Lawrence.

Ultimately, Dr. Facilier's hubris and failure to honor his debt to the spirits results in his demise. He is dragged into the voodoo realm, a victim of his own dark magic.
