Tiana is a fictional character who first appeared in Disney's 2009 animated feature film, The Princess and the Frog. She is portrayed as a hardworking and ambitious young woman living in New Orleans during the Jazz Age.

Tiana dreams of owning her own restaurant and is determined to achieve her goal through perseverance and dedication. Her journey takes an unexpected turn when she kisses a frog prince, Naveen, who has been transformed and is seeking to break the spell. As a consequence, she also becomes a frog.

Throughout the film, Tiana and Naveen navigate the Louisiana bayou, encountering various challenges and learning valuable lessons about love, friendship, and the importance of staying true to oneself. Tiana is known as the ninth member of the Disney Princesses franchise.
