Qui-Gon Jinn is a prominent Jedi Master in the Star Wars Prequel trilogy. A wise and often rebellious figure, he is known for his strong connection to the Force and his unconventional approach to the Jedi Code.
He first appeared in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, where he discovers Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine and believes him to be the Chosen One, destined to bring balance to the Force. Qui-Gon insists on training Anakin despite the Jedi Council's reservations.
During the events of The Phantom Menace, Qui-Gon battles the Sith Lord Darth Maul and is tragically killed.
