Patty Bouvier is a recurring character on the animated television series, The Simpsons. She is the identical twin sister of Selma Bouvier and Marge Simpson's older sister.

Patty works alongside her sister at the Springfield Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), a job she clearly finds monotonous and soul-crushing. She is easily identifiable by her square-shaped afro and perpetually grumpy demeanor.

Patty is openly lesbian. Before coming out, she nearly married Principal Skinner when he was briefly going by the alias "Armin Tamzarian" as part of a witness protection program. Her love interests have included Smithers. She is openly hostile towards Homer Simpson and frequently expresses her disapproval of his marriage to Marge.

Voiced by actress Julie Kavner, Patty, along with Selma, represents a critical and often cynical perspective on societal norms and expectations within the Simpsons' world. Her sardonic wit and disdain for Homer provide much of the show's comedic relief.
