Uchiha Sasuke, a prominent character in the Naruto series, joins Akatsuki after betraying Konohagakure. Driven by an all-consuming desire for revenge against his older brother, Uchiha Itachi, Sasuke initially seeks power to defeat him. After successfully killing Itachi, Sasuke learns the truth about his brother's actions – that he was forced to slaughter the Uchiha clan to prevent a coup, acting under orders from Konoha's leadership, and that he spared Sasuke.

This revelation dramatically shifts Sasuke's focus. He becomes consumed with hatred towards Konoha, believing the village manipulated Itachi and caused his suffering. To achieve his goals, Sasuke allies himself with Akatsuki, a criminal organization aiming to capture all nine tailed beasts.

While associated with Akatsuki, Sasuke forms his own team, Hebi (later Taka), comprised of individuals willing to aid him in his quest for vengeance. His actions as a member of Akatsuki include targeting high-ranking Konoha officials and attempting to destroy the village itself. His ultimate goal becomes to dismantle the shinobi system, which he views as corrupt and responsible for his family's tragedy.
