Uzumaki Karin is a character introduced in the Naruto Shippuden anime and manga series. She is a member of the Uzumaki clan and possesses unique sensory abilities, allowing her to detect chakra signatures and even determine if someone is lying.

Karin first appears during the Search for Sasuke arc, as one of Orochimaru's subordinates and overseer of his Southern Hideout. She later joins Sasuke Uchiha's team, Hebi (later Taka), utilizing her sensory skills and healing abilities to support the group.

Karin harbors strong romantic feelings for Sasuke, which often leads to comical and sometimes obsessive behavior. Despite Sasuke's often cold and dismissive treatment of her, she remains loyal for a significant period. She eventually leaves Team Taka after Sasuke betrays her during his fight with Danzo.

After leaving Team Taka Karin is captured by Konohagakure forces, and later assists in the Fourth Shinobi World War, using her Uzumaki clan abilities to provide crucial support to the Allied Shinobi Forces.
