Biography:

Uatu the Watcher is a member of the Watchers, an ancient and powerful race tasked with observing and documenting events throughout the multiverse. He is bound by an oath of non-interference, meaning he is generally forbidden from directly intervening in the events he witnesses.

Uatu's first appearance was in Fantastic Four #13 (April 1963) in the comic.

Uatu has also appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, most recently in the Disney+ animated series What If...?, voiced by Jeffrey Wright. As a Watcher, he chronicles alternate timelines and scenarios within the multiverse.
