Yhwach is the primary antagonist of the final arc of the anime and manga series, Bleach. He is the Quincy King, the father of all Quincies, and the son of the Soul King.
Born blind and deaf, Yhwach gained power by distributing fragments of his soul to others. These recipients, in turn, amplified his power and shared their acquired abilities with him upon their deaths. This process fueled his ambition to reshape the world.
His ultimate goal is to destroy the Soul Society and merge it with the human world and Hueco Mundo (the realm of Hollows), believing that the current state of affairs leads to stagnation and suffering. He views himself as a savior, offering a new order where death and fear cease to exist.
