Biography:

Kanae Kocho is a character from the anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She was the older sister of Shinobu Kocho and the former Flower Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Kanae was known for her gentle and compassionate personality, a stark contrast to Shinobu's later, more reserved demeanor. She had a strong desire to coexist peacefully with demons, believing they were once human and deserved compassion.

Kanae's first appearance is primarily in flashbacks throughout the series, notably during Shinobu's memories. Her kind nature and tragic fate serve as a significant motivator for Shinobu's actions.
