Biography:
Fusako is a character prominently featured in the Japanese film House (Hausu), released in 1977. Directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi, the film is known for its surreal and psychedelic horror elements.
Fusako, nicknamed "Oshare" (meaning fashionable), is one of the seven schoolgirls who travel to her aunt's remote house for a summer vacation. She is portrayed as stylish and somewhat superficial, concerned with her appearance and social standing among her friends.
While not necessarily the central character, Oshare's experiences within the haunted house are significant to the film's narrative. She, along with her friends, face increasingly bizarre and terrifying events orchestrated by the house itself and its supernatural inhabitants.
The role of Fusako/Oshare was played by actress Kumiko Ohba. The character's fate and the details of her demise are part of the film's unsettling and dreamlike progression.
