Zhongli is a prominent character from the action role-playing game Genshin Impact. He first appeared in the game's Version 1.1 update.
He is initially introduced as a consultant for the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor in Liyue Harbor. Possessing immense knowledge and a refined demeanor, Zhongli is sought after for his expertise on matters of history and tradition.
Later in the game's storyline, it is revealed that Zhongli is, in fact, the Geo Archon, Rex Lapis (also known as Morax), one of The Seven who presides over Liyue. He faked his own death to relinquish his responsibilities and experience the world from a mortal perspective.
