Kusajishi Yachiru is a fictional character from the popular anime and manga series, Bleach, created by Tite Kubo. She serves as the lieutenant of the 11th Division in the Gotei 13, a military organization protecting Soul Society.

Yachiru is characterized by her small stature, pink hair, and boundless energy. She is often seen clinging to her captain, Zaraki Kenpachi, whom she deeply admires and refers to as "Ken-chan." Her true name is unknown, as Kenpachi named her after finding her as a child, abandoned and unafraid in the Rukongai district.

Despite her childlike appearance and behavior, Yachiru possesses considerable spiritual power and agility. Her Zanpakuto (soul-cutting sword) is called Sanpo Kenjū (Three Step Sword Beasts), which manifests two animal-like beings that fight alongside her, but its true Shikai ability, and later Bankai, remain largely a mystery until later in the manga.

Yachiru's playful nature often masks a sharp intuition and an ability to perceive her opponents' weaknesses. She serves as a vital support to Kenpachi, providing him with both tactical advice and emotional support in battle. Her disappearance is a source of mystery until the reveal of her true nature and connection to Kenpachi’s Zanpakuto.
