The Frog, also sometimes referred to as Toad, is a mob in the popular sandbox video game, Minecraft.
Frogs were first introduced to the game as part of the Minecraft 1.19 update, also known as "The Wild Update". This update brought a variety of new content to the game, focusing on expanding the game's biomes and adding more diverse creatures.
Frogs are passive mobs and come in three variants: temperate, cold, and warm, each matching the temperature of the biome in which they spawned. They are known for their hopping movement and ability to eat small slimes and magma cubes. Frog spawn can be obtained by breeding frogs with slimeballs, with the color of the froglets determined by the biome where the egg hatches.
