Biography:

Cloud Strife is a fictional character and the protagonist of Final Fantasy VII, a role-playing game developed by Square (now Square Enix). He first appeared in this title in 1997.

He is portrayed as a former member of SOLDIER, a powerful elite fighting force employed by the Shinra Electric Power Company. Cloud wields a large sword and initially presents himself as a cool and aloof mercenary.

His backstory involves serving with Hyena, a group associated with anti-Shinra activities. Throughout the game, Cloud grapples with his memories and identity, uncovering a more complex and tragic past than he initially reveals.
