Biography:

Gwen Stacy, known as Spider-Gwen or Ghost-Spider, gained widespread recognition following her appearance in the animated film, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023). This version hails from an alternate reality where she, not Peter Parker, was bitten by a radioactive spider.

In her universe, Gwen is a drummer in a band called the Mary Janes. Tragically, her best friend Peter Parker attempts to gain powers like her, but it goes wrong. He becomes a lizard-like creature and ultimately dies during a confrontation with Spider-Gwen. This event deeply affects her, causing conflict with her police captain father, George Stacy, who views Spider-Woman as a menace.

Her abilities are similar to those of Spider-Man, including superhuman strength, agility, and the ability to stick to walls. She uses web-shooters which is a distinct element of her character.
