Mantis is a character appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), introduced in *Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2* (2017).

She is portrayed as an empathetic alien with the power to sense and manipulate the emotions of others through physical contact. Initially, Mantis is Ego's naive and sheltered assistant.
