Aayla Secura was a female Rutian Twi'lek Jedi Master who served the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Known for her beauty, acrobatic fighting style, and close relationship with her clone troopers, Aayla was a skilled warrior and a respected leader within the Jedi Order.
Born on Ryloth, Aayla displayed strong Force abilities at a young age and was brought to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant for training. She honed her skills under the tutelage of Master Quinlan Vos, with whom she developed a complex and deep connection.
Aayla served with distinction throughout the Clone Wars, leading clone troopers in numerous battles across the galaxy. She formed a close bond with Commander Bly, demonstrating a concern for the well-being of her troops that was not always typical among the Jedi.
Aayla Secura's first appearance was in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002), although her role was minor. She had a more prominent role in the *Star Wars: The Clone Wars* animated television series, and the live action movie, *Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith* (2005).
Tragically, Aayla was killed during Order 66 on Felucia. She was shot in the back by her own clone troopers led by Commander Bly, illustrating the devastating effectiveness of the Emperor's contingency order.
