Carnage (Crystal Kasumi) is a character appearing in Marvel Comics. She is a symbiote, an alien lifeform, bonded to a human host, thereby creating a supervillain with powers similar to Venom and Spider-Man, but far more violent and unpredictable.

Crystal Kasumi was a troubled teenager who became bonded to a fragment of the original Carnage symbiote. This imbued her with superhuman strength, speed, agility, and the ability to form bladed weapons from her body. She also possessed the ability to regenerate from injuries.

Unlike Cletus Kasady, the original Carnage's host, Crystal's motivations were often less overtly nihilistic. At times, she demonstrated a desire for connection and belonging. However, the corrupting influence of the symbiote frequently led her down a path of violence and destruction.

She has been both an enemy and an uneasy ally of Spider-Man, sometimes acting in her own self-serving interests. Her story has involved struggles with the symbiote's control and attempts to find her own identity amidst the chaos she generates.
