Link, the protagonist of The Legend of Zelda series, is a recurring hero tasked with saving the kingdom of Hyrule. First appearing in the 1986 Nintendo Entertainment System game, The Legend of Zelda, Link is typically depicted as a young, courageous adventurer identifiable by his green tunic and pointed cap.

He is often silent, allowing the player to project their own personality onto him, though his actions speak volumes. Across numerous iterations, Link embodies the spirit of courage and is often destined to wield the Master Sword, a legendary blade capable of vanquishing evil.
