Driven by a desire to accelerate and control evolutionary processes, he developed a serum that granted him heightened intellect and physical abilities. This transformation marked his transition into the High Evolutionary, separating him from his former human identity.

His experiments often involve transforming animals into humanoid beings, known as the New Men, and creating artificial environments to rapidly advance evolution. Wundagore Mountain, his primary base of operations, became a focal point for his ambitious endeavors.

While his intentions are often rooted in a desire to create a better, more evolved future, his methods are frequently ethically questionable and have led to conflicts with numerous heroes.
