Haroun ibn Sallah al-Rashid

Jetstream, whose real name is Haroun ibn Sallah al-Rashid, is a mutant character appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily associated with the New Mutants. He hails from a wealthy family in Saudi Arabia, giving him a privileged upbringing.

His mutant power manifests as the ability to generate and manipulate bioplasmic energy. This energy allows him to fly at high speeds, leaving a glowing trail resembling a jet stream. He can also project this energy as concussive blasts, making him a formidable combatant.

Jetstream joined the Hellions, the rival team to the New Mutants, led by Emma Frost, the White Queen. His personality was often portrayed as arrogant and overconfident, fitting the competitive and often ruthless nature of the Hellions.

Tragically, Jetstream died alongside most of his Hellions teammates during an attack by Trevor Fitzroy, a time-traveling mutant criminal. Though his time in the Marvel Universe was relatively short, he left an impression as a powerful, if somewhat antagonistic, mutant.
