Amora, known as the Enchantress, is a powerful sorceress within the Marvel Universe. She is primarily known as an antagonist to Thor and the Avengers, frequently employing her considerable magical abilities and seductive charm to manipulate others for her own gain.

First appearing in Journey into Mystery #103 (1964), Amora hails from Asgard, though her origins and early life are shrouded in mystery. She has repeatedly demonstrated mastery over a wide array of spells, enchantments, and illusions, making her a formidable opponent.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a version of the Enchantress appeared in Thor: Ragnarok, although this character's abilities and name differed significantly from the comic book iteration. The character, known as Hela, was the Goddess of Death and Thor's older sister.
