Joanna Cargill, better known as Frenzy, is a mutant within the Marvel Universe possessing incredible strength, enhanced durability, and a virtually impenetrable metallic hide.

First appearing as a member of the Alliance of Evil, Frenzy often served as a formidable enforcer and antagonist against various X-Men teams. Her allegiance has shifted over time, sometimes placing her as an enemy, sometimes as an ally.

Frenzy's powers render her immune to most physical attacks, making her a difficult opponent in direct combat. While not invulnerable, her metallic form significantly enhances her resistance to injury. She also has some enhanced speed and agility.

Her motivations are complex, stemming from a troubled past and a strong desire for survival. Despite her often aggressive demeanor, she has occasionally demonstrated a capacity for loyalty and even heroism, most notably when she joined Cyclops's team of X-Men on Utopia. She is also a skilled hand-to-hand combatant.
