Grim Reaper, also known as Eric Williams, is a Marvel Comics supervillain. He first appeared in *The Avengers* #52 (May 1968).
Eric Williams is the brother of Simon Williams, Wonder Man. Driven by jealousy and resentment towards his brother and the Avengers, Eric embraced a life of crime and became the Grim Reaper. He wields a scythe, a weapon often augmented with technology to project energy blasts and disrupt matter.
The Grim Reaper's hatred for the Avengers, particularly his brother, fuels his actions. He has been a persistent adversary, forming alliances with other villains and devising numerous schemes to destroy his enemies.
