Biography:
Simon Williams, known as Wonder Man, debuted in The Avengers #9 (October 1964). Initially powered by ionic energy from Baron Zemo, Williams was seemingly killed after infiltrating the Avengers. This "death" served to motivate the team to fight Zemo.
Wonder Man returned years later, having been kept in suspended animation. His ionic form granted him superhuman strength, speed, durability, and flight. He initially struggled to control his powers and reconcile his earlier actions.
As a "Heroic Actor" in Hollywood, Wonder Man often juggled his superhero life with his acting career, adding a unique dimension to his character. He has served with the Avengers on numerous occasions, eventually becoming a steadfast and reliable member. He is also a founding member of the Revengers.
