D-O is a small, one-wheeled droid first appearing in *Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker*.

This droid is composed of scavenged parts and possesses a timid, anxious personality. He was originally found by a droidsmith named Babu Frik.

He quickly becomes an ally of the Resistance. D-O holds vital information from the long-dead Sith Eternal leader, Emperor Palpatine.

Through his programming, D-O provides crucial context and a means of translating audio recordings, aiding Rey and her companions in their quest to defeat the Final Order.
