Rahm Kota was a Human male Jedi Master who survived the Great Jedi Purge in the Star Wars: Legends continuity. He stubbornly refused to acknowledge the authority of the Galactic Republic, opting instead to command his own private militia.
Kota's first appearance was in the video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. In the game, he is initially portrayed as a gruff and battle-hardened general leading his troops against Imperial forces on the planet Raxus Prime.
Throughout The Force Unleashed, Kota's path intertwines with that of Starkiller, Darth Vader's secret apprentice. He becomes a key figure in the nascent Rebel Alliance, his military expertise and strategic mind proving invaluable to the cause against the Galactic Empire, despite his initial distrust of the Force and Force users.
