Hiruko is a puppet used by the Akatsuki member Sasori in Naruto Shippuden. He makes his first appearance in the anime series in episode 27 of Naruto Shippuden.
Sasori resided within Hiruko as a form of armor and a disguise. The puppet's appearance is that of a scorpion-like figure. It has a long, armored tail that extends from its back, which is capable of delivering poisonous attacks.
