Dwight Schrute is a prominent character in the American television sitcom, The Office, portrayed by actor Rainn Wilson. He is a paper salesman and Assistant Regional Manager (later Regional Manager) at Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch.

Dwight is characterized by his intense, eccentric personality, unwavering loyalty to Dunder Mifflin (and particularly Michael Scott), and his passion for beet farming. He takes his job very seriously, often to an absurd degree, and harbors aspirations of leadership.
